The Bank House is Self Contained accommodation and is in a magnificent heritage listed building situated right in the centre of Crookwell township.
The original building was erected on the site in 1876 as the Bank of NSW and served the gold trade from Tuena during its goldrush period.
Rebuilt in 1907, and again in 1914 with a bank manager's residence as Crookwell grew, it then became a branch serving the local wool industry - the imposing nature of its facade reflecting the wealth - up to $1 million a day in the season - of the local wool industry.
The present owners bought the building in April 2000 and extended the living area to accommodate the larger groups the Bank House can accommodate.
