JAN 2010: 26TH Campdraft, 30TH Gymkhana & Country Music Night, 31ST - Rodeo Plus

For details see Full RODEO program

Meet your mates at the legendary Taralga Australia Day Rodeo Plus!

A taste of the bush just 2 1/2 hours from Sydney or 1 1/2 hours from Canberra.

This increasingly popular event offers a full day of family fun. Families are our top priority so prices are kept to a minimum.

Come to the Country Music Night before the Rodeo, then camp on the ground ready for a full day's exciting action including top Australian stockmen and women showing their skills.

You too can get involved - our mechanical bull and other rides are a great drawcard for young and old.

A variety of stalls adds to the colour and atmosphere of the rodeo.

There is also a Rodeo Photo Contest which has grown to be a major event with photographers travelling from many centres to capture the winning shot.

Bring a chair or rug, sit on the tree shaded hill or on a stand and enjoy a full rodeo program with bucking bulls and horses, roping, steer wrestling, barrel racing, steer undecorating and much more. The unique race between a runner, horse and bike is a feature presented each year!

Freshly cooked food and hot and cold drinks are available all weekend. There are plenty of stalls and rides.

There is also a bar service with reasonably priced drinks. Patrons are asked NOT to bring glass bottles to the ground.

Camping facilities are offered with hot showers at no charge. Food is available throughout the function.
